Hung up after I answered "Hello" ?

I just had this number call me wanting business donations for the Federal Police to help a campaign they want to set up in schools re domestic violence, school bullying ect when I said I wasn't the business owner he hung up then I received a private caller call straight after.

SCAM! - They say they are looking for donations in the area from which you are from = i have already spoken to the blue light disco organisers from where i am and they dont do them any more and the police said NOT TO GIVE ANY MONEY as this has nothing to do with the police!

This guy has called me annually for the past few years. Has a British accent.
In the past was claiming yo sell advertising for small business in the police gazette. This time around said he was calling on behalf af AFP looking for donations from local businesses.

Caller claimed to be from Australia Federal Police said they were targeting small business in the area on behalf of PCYC and blue light discos. Hung up when I asked again who was calling

they Hung up as soon as I said "hello". I rang them back and the operator said this number is not accepting any calls. "Scammers!"

Just got a call from a guy claiming he was from neighbourhood watch and wanting me to advertise in a magazine to help protect children... When I told him I wasnt a business he thanked me for his time and hung up

They called me today and asked for donations to police fighting war on drugs and alcohol.

just had same guy ring as well,was his 2nd time trying scam us.told him 2 bugger off and was reported 2police .

This Number is still actively trying to get donations for a "Police Charity"....claimed his name was Charlie.....def a Scammer.........

Rang quoting business name wanted $1200 for 1/2 page add in a book or $440 for a business card size add. Gave a website to look up..

Douche bag called me saying his name was Matt from the Australian Federal Police, that was as far as the call went because he hung up. He got my number from my photography business page on Facebook.

Constantly calling and getting angsty, refuses to give number for a call back, gone from being a pretend police federation fundraiser to the army -same bloke -everytime. told them to naff off as we all know he is a scam artist, but still persists, now on block, also calls from 0434 569 356

This man/lady with strong British accent called "on behalf of the federal police" asking about my (small) business. In the background there was a lot of talking and noise. They hung up very fast once I questioned them. I tried to call the number back and it says it is an outbound number only.. I don't know what this means or why they called but could be a scam.

This man called from this number wanting money for advert/sponsorship in a magazine called "Soldier On' it is obviously a scam and he seems to moving around the "Defence Forces" so just ignore it

Caller seemed to be in a noisy/chatty enviroment. Hung up almost immediately, after I answered with a brief "hello".

They hung up on me as soon as I answered. Called the number back they have a recording to say that "this is an outbound number only, have a great day!"

Said he was calling on behalf of the police wanting to know if i wanted to advertise through their yearly booklet and wanted me to pay over the phone. Man had a greek accent.

Called and wanted money donations pretending to be a police officer. Wanted $300-$900
