Said he was from Credit Card protection service of Visa and Mastercard. Said there was a fraudulent transaction spotted on my Visa card for flights at 8.00am for $840.00 this morning. He wanted me to check my account. Funny I said, I have a Visa or Mastercard so how could that be? Then he said, am I speaking to Mr Jones and I am not Mr Jones, He apologised and hung up. It had all the hallmarks of a long distance call, even though it appears to be an Australian number. I'm getting sick of these types of calls.
