Just got a call from this number. Claimed that we agreed to an add in August which we didn't. This is about 8 calls in the last 2 weeks claiming that we have agreed to an add in a magazine ranging from returned services men and woman to save the children, fire fighters, the list goes on. We got caught twice before we realised it was a scam. Seems that we are now on the list. Everytime I simply tell them to email me the proof of acceptance but strangely I never receive it. My guess is they are all the same scammers just working different magazine titles. The sad part of this is that I will no longer give to anyone via phone or email. The only donations that I will now give is in a tin at the shops, and most of them are possibly rorts.

This guy is a scammer!!! Get calls every day from these guys trying to get information about our business. Do not give them any information

Tried to tell me I placed an ad for a childrens mag - I didn't. I don't place ads in magazines, not viable for my business, and in any case I havn't done any advertising for ages. This has happened to me before with another fake magazine. I went to consumer affairs as they print a fake 'sample' publication with your 'ad' in it and send you an invoice. I phoned other businesses in the classified ads, and they all confirned this is a scam. Consumer Affairs confirmed printing unsolicited ads is illegal so don't give them any of your hard earned money. Scammers need to get real jobs.

Apparently I made a booking for the Childrens Safety Magazine, I didn't. He is looking through correspondence.

Called up about a add booking I supposabley made in a magazine 6 months ago. I didn't make a booking for a add and he wanted $480 payment so yeah scammer!!!

Really nice guy, let me cancel my booking. No problems at all. NOT a scammer.
