Caller: Optus ?? allegedly calling from Optus and is giving a 40% discount on my current mobile phone account for the next 3 months, but he needed my account # and dob to process - SCAM WARNING

Caller: Claimed he was from Optus Billing Chap called 'Daniel' from Optus Billing called saying I was eligible for a 50% discount on my mobile phone plan due to COVID. Pressed for personal information which I declined to provide - didnt feel it was legit.
Rang Optus direct - no such offer being made at this point in time. SCAM
