Suspected spam caller, phone rang twice then stopped, no message left.

Rang twice then 10mins later I had 1 million dollars in my savings account.

This is a Survey SCAM call.
It rang a few times last night at approx 7.30pm.. I’m almost certain it’s ILLEGAL to do these calls at this time in the evening!!!
I answered and an Australian accent bloke recorded voice says that it’s a Survey that will take a couple of minutes.
I hung up!!!
WHY can’t TELSTRA do a damn thing about these scams? Telstra = Multi-Billion dollar company. Surely they’ve got the cash & equip to BLOCK these daily scams from our mobiles & landlines???

Called my mobile but i did not answer and the caller did not leave a message. After reading comments I’be decided to block the number .

Called very late at night, I didn't recognise the number and declined the call. No message was left. I've reported and blocked it.

Called twice within an hour. No message was left. I decided to block based on comments from others when I searched the number

Phoned at dinner time, typical of spam callers. I let it ring, no message was left

Continual spaced calls daily. No messages left. I've blocked the number . Variations occur. Number of scam calls astonishing. The more I block numbers, the more incessant calls I get. I've tried calling back but am told the number is disconnected or there is nothing on the line. Also often shows no recent calls registered.

Called but left no text as requested. Will block.
