Caller: Supposedly Amazon- definitely a scam Caller identified herself as from Amazon, supposedly to confirm my purchase of $1400+ for a mobile phone. I don't use Amazon, so asked what the name on the order was. As it was my name, I asked "What would happen next if I was to confirm this purchase?" ...and she hung up instantly. I assume the answerr they want is "no I didn't purchase this" and then they would ask for credit card details to "refund" (ha ha hah) the purchase that I did not make.
