hey this number message my mate saying ''heads up, ask ya missers who she slept with on da weekend."

?? everyone is saying its a scammer trying to get baank details...?? can anyone please answer why they would send that??

I got a text from Greg saying something about we regret the things we didn't do etc, etc....

Text recieved said:
"Hello,thankyou for booking with Mercedes-Benz Melbourne.Confirming your vehicle VAG831 is booked in on 20/10/14 at 09:30am.Enquiries 96909933."

Keep getting texts from number, doesn't answer when you phone, is there a way to find out who it is?

Empty text message from this number

Got a text saying "Hi Sam - please ring me on 31396928 (Qld number obviously) to increase your tacro. Katrina Transplant.

Effing weird stuff. I called both numbers, the landline was busy, the mobile was a disconnected number.

I keep on getting these empty text messages from this (and other) number(s). No content at all, just empty.

I haven't win anything why do I know that ? Because my Apple iPhone is registered in my name at my address they already have these details which were given at the point if sale. The email link if clicked on could have opened a virus and caused untold problems.

A scam ! How do I know because my name and address were given at the time I bought my Apple product, they already know who I am, if I'd clicked on the email link it would have made all my security info susceptible to a virus. Do not respond

Received a text from this phone number for the second time in one week.

Mentions my name and says if I could come into a job finding agency to collect a fuel card. Underneath a message shows saying it has been scanned by the Symantec Security service.

I have not replied and this worries me!

Multiple empty SMS appear in my text feed to this number. No notifications received on my iPhone, just this empty/blank text msg. Weird. Assume it's from a msg service?

I ialled the number and its disconnected ????

i just got an sms from this number. it was my vet messaging about an appointment i missed. which is true. seems legit to me.

Got a text confirming a booking for car service I just did, so is legit. Don't know why same number appears for others as scam???

Scam received via SMS: "Thanks for your request to activate your ANZ Visa Debit Card. We've activated your card and it's ready to use. Any questions call 131314, we're here 24/7. ANZ"

I received SMS from this number saying the following;
"We have received a voicemail from you today but unable to identify who you are as no name provided, only a 10digit SMS. If we can assist you please telephone"
I have never called this number so it is definitely a scam to get me to call them. These people need to get a real job!

Just got a message from this - regarding a smartmeter appointment from Powercor. In this case the call was legit but i have reported the service they are using to send the messages as suspect, based on the above messages with regards to the tradingpost etc scams

Christine. Sub 86: 9186 MSG : bacto results for 8.6.13 = 12,598,000 - tanker has been affected. Sounded legit until tried to phone back and number was disconnected.
