Arrived with a trailer and tried to talk me down further on the arranged deal with lies and mistruths. He was nice ant first but I felt threatened by him and agreed to sell him several items of which he left a few behind.

I told my husband who decided to wait for him to return and tell him he was not taking the rest as he had scammed us, upon his return he tried his nice act again claiming he needed a fair price on the furniture as he had nothing, my husband refused and offered to give him the money back for the remaining items to which he instantly went insane and started threatening us.

He claimed to be calling the police and having us in big trouble for fraud and violently threatened my husband. We went inside and called the police while he loaded up the reaming items and left.

The police claimed as we had no video or witnesses of it and the fact that he had given us money and we had not stopped him taking the items he could easily argue out of it in court and refused to press charges telling us he was a known person to police and has done things like this before.

If this person calls you on gum tree to not answer!!!

Glad I saw your comment. Was bombarded with calls from this number, went on google to look up the number and saw the two warnings here, tried to scam me on items I had up for sale.
