I came to this page and read the comments and was going to dismiss the two texts I received as a scam. However, thought I would call Commbank directly and check. They were actual legit texts - the fraud team had blocked transactions on my card.

Got a text from this number saying it was CBA etc. Thought it was a scam, but then checked account and had about 7 fraudulent transactions. Did not reply to the message, but put a hold on my card via iphone then called CBA on 132221

texted me also. deleted message

it is genuine, no need to reply if you dont want but lock your card and call them immediately, the message alerted me to a lot of fraudulent activity on my car from that day

be careful as we had the same message and now there is unusual activity on our card. I would cancel the card

Have received 2 text messages, the 1st saying unusual account activity.
I have checked all bank accounts, and nothing suspicious.
2nd text saying it is important to respond to our previous message and Please reply Yes or No.

0426 305 517 is a scam caller looking for return txt messages to then obtain bank account details. Often using some type of "its important you respond" message claiming your credit card is blocked due to "declined transactions". Ignore and delete messages
