Caller: Scammers

Thick Indian accent. Said she was from NBN, doing upgrades in our area to fibre optic cable. Asked me to switch on my computer and test the internet speed - she could step me through the process. .
Told her to give me a phone number that I could call her back on, after I tested the internet speed myself. She gave me the number of NBN wholesale arm.

This is a clever scam, which I have had confirmed by an NBN spokesperson.

NBN do not call retail customers! Do not give out any personal information and end the conversation with these people as soon as possible. They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
