Scammer trying to get me pay money to release non existent parcels they are supposedly holding.

Got a message saying I have a parcel waiting for me saying 'I took one of the spots on our 1/11 list' with a link I haven't clicked on the link.

Caller: Fake UPS scam Had the same as others have reported ..
Provided a link to a UPS tracking number asking me to pay Custom fees to release a parcel ... I copied the UPS tracking number , exited the site from the link then went to the genuine UPS site and entered the UPS tracking number , surprise surprise no parcel could be found !
