Caller: Amazon Refund Scam Amazon Refund Scam, claims to be a call to authorise a payment for an iPhone. It's a IVR, or interactive voice recording which filters people who fall for the call, only those who buy into the scam, get connected with the scammer. Very efficient for them.
The goal behind the scam is to take money from you using gift cards or EFTs as part o the scam. They will use remote desktop software, and the web browser developer tools to make it look like they have deposited too much money back into your bank account, and trick you into giving them money.
