Scammer, tries to get you to transfer money to drop off an item from gumtree.

Scammer from Gumtree who responded to a 'Wanted to buy' ad. Claims her name was Rachael. After calling was met by an Aussie guy named Dylan and that Rachael was his wife. Claimed to have a video camera for sale for 850 and that they were in Newcastle, NSW. Be cautious everyone.

Caller: Michelle & later Matt

They wanted a deposit for a Caravan. Then they will deliver the next day. They will not let you go to "Bendigo" see the Van. Gumtree had it listed as Melbourne.
CoincidentlyI actually saw the same Van advertised in QLD.
Michelle and Matt took the photos from the Caravan Yard and posted as their own photoes. They claim to be too busy to talk. Just send the deposit and the van is yours. Be very careful.

Caller: Dylan

Dylan took a deposit of $200 for a caravan. Claimed to be in Albany and would drive to Perth. Needed money for petrol. Then wanted another $150 because his account had been frozen so he couldn’t access the $200. Said would get Aunty who lives in Albany to collect caravan and pay rest of money. Then started making claims that wouldn’t negotiate, that I was nasty etc. and wouldn’t go through with deal. Asked him to return $200 refused to do so.

Caller: GUMTREE SCAMMER

Tries to get you to deposit money into their account as a deposit for an item before they deliver it to you. Claims to be Dylan Woda.

Scammer claimed to be Dylan Woda (Gumtree name was Courtney Taylor claiming to be his wife)

Caller: Scammer (claimed to be Dylan)

Wanted a deposit for a motorbike ($150) and 'could deliver' the next day as he would be 'travelling there anyway'. Claimed to be in Brisbane.

Wanting a deposit first then they'll drive a car they have for sale 4 hours to my destination so I can view it.

Scammer, claims to be selling an item, wants a quick deposit, did actually talk to him on the phone, he used the name Dylan and is claiming to be in Daly Waters NT. Replied to Gumtree Add.

A crook claimed that he is from Newcastle. As to transfer $100 deposit for a dog. He is using pictures from internet claiming his dogs and puppies.
