Had a call from Emergency Services (gov org?) asking for the postal address for a publication to be sent to.
Then requested payment for advertising in that publication, supposedly the proofs were sent to us by mail and when we did not reply they went ahead with the advert.
Requested their details be sent by email which never arrived

Definitely a scam. Claim an ad has been printed, never authorised and they continue to demand payment. Nasty attitude. We have been harassed since January 2015. Other phone numbers used are (03) 9038 5725 - Michelle Shekhter, 04570056599 - Male name unknown. Weaver Media is the main name but use many trading names. Please report them to Scam Watch if you have been scammed by them.

I was rung today from this number, trying to confirm an advert I agreed to in January apparently. Asked for proof and was all verbal apparently. Tried telling me I had a $100 credit as they were late in getting the magazine out. Total scam

Yes this is scarm.

Called today to remind me of the "proof" i had agreed to to advertise in their magazine. I told her I didn't agree to anything, dod she have email proof and she said no it was all over the phone. I haven't agreed to any of this and am now trying to find out if it is a scam. From other websites I am seeing it looks like it is. Anyone else?
