She's a flog, offered an Xbox one for $350 on gumtree and offered me the option of sending half the payment and then sending the remaining payment once the Xbox arrived. She sounds quite legitimate over the phone and gave me a story about how she was in a car accident and would send it when she could but, like the rest of you, it never came. So if you're buying a cheaper than expected item of off gumtree under the name Fatima Omar, don't send the money, save yourself the money and the trouble

This lady scammed me off $500 off my wtb add of gumtree, for an Apple MacBook. Is there anyway I will get my money back, can someone help?

She has scammed my daughter and I out of $723. She replied to a wanted ad my daughter had on gumtree. Hard lesson for a 15 year old to learn. Have contacted police and Westpac but apparently nothing can be done. I have also logged it on acorn a government site. I spoke to her on the phone, she sounds in her 20's and is a master at telling lies.

Silly me! I should have searched about her before I pay her. I bought an item from her yesterday on gumtree. I paid her $400. She sent me her ID and her sister phone number for me to trust her and I did cause I thought all her ID was actually true. All I received was a recipe book cause I asked for the receipt before I paid her the money. She should end up her life in car accident! Hate this woman!

This disturbed and clearly damaged human being (if you can call her that) scammed me yesterday for $200, she actually wanted me to pay 50% up front ($400) for a Macbook Pro after responding to my ad i put up on gumtree. She played on my good will, trusting nature with emotional manipulation saying that her son was sick so she was selling quick and needed a little something now. I am silly for falling for it, it's such a shame because there is good, honest people such as myself who can be trusted in the world, but sadly we all have to be much more careful because there are clearly broken human beings out there who are clearly so lost and will have to face the karmic consequences which will follow these totally wrong and immoral actions which nobody has a right to take. If you cause harm and steal from another, just like gravity, cause & effect is in place and will slap you in the face or much more eventually one way or another.

Fatima Omar contacted me how she has contacted others. She is a dangerous, manipulative scammer who will provide you with her no doubt fake photo i.d, address, and bank account details (in my case her account was with westpac). Don't believe a word she says and don't pay her a penny.

One way or another, karma is going to come back round and shake her life up. I hope she can repay those she has stolen off, and learn to become an actual human being one day.

Tried to scam me as well on this number. Her name is Fatima Omar and she lives in Melbourne and will try to sell you belongings she does not have, and give you an excuse as to why she can't use PayPal. I believe she works for the Leukaemia Foundation and seeing all the complaints against her online I plan to contact them and let them know she is a criminal (if it is the same girl).
