Reminder telling me that my water bill needs to be paid by tomorrow and the msg provides a link saying "for payment".
Obviously a scam takes me straight to provide bank details with my full name. BEWARE!

Have this message this morning on my pocket wifi modem saying that I have scheduled a payment and that the SMS confirms my payment of $281.36, informs me to contact the council. This is obviously a scammer and I will be watching my bank account for any unusual transactions.

Have messages saying that an amount has been paid to the council. no amounts have been deducted so not sure what is happening

SMS stating they were council payment confirmation.

Not Brighton Council in Tasmania as I have checked with them

Payments acknowledgement.
