My debt has already hit 6 years and has cleared off my credit record. However credit corp will still try get ahold of me to pay it off. Best to ignore them and if you get called as work like they did to me in the past; tell them firmly they do no have permission to call you at work and they have to cease.

Answered call and heard an automated message saying it was Amazon and that my Prime service was going to auto-renew at $99 per year. I was prompted to press 1 if I wanted to cancel.

Constantly f*cking calls, legally they can not call you more then 7 times a month otherwise its classfied as harassment, well i guess i am getting harassed everyweek, i dont even know how they have my details and its illegal to discuss someone elses private information, so when you have tracked me on fb for a debt thats paid and contacted my 90yr grandma threating her, you can f*ck off credit corp

Someone needs to explain the rules of the ACCC's debt collection guideline update of December 2020.
They are robo-calling my mobile at 548am which is a clear breach of the rules.

Great to have this feedback. They have called me on 3 different numbers and never leave a message so it's good to know I can just block the number. Bit like a whack-a-mole but what can you do?

New to Oz

The point is I received my first call from them shortly after moving to Oz and had definitely NO debts of any kind. And yet, they got my phone number from somewhere. I suspect they are just calling anyone in the hope they can scare them sufficiently to respond. Bottom feeders indeed, and crooks to boot. I do not respond to callers I don't know, and if they don't leave a message, it probably is not legit.

Multiple calls over recent weeks - I have no debts and no issues so no reason for any calls. Like to know how to stop them apart from blocking after I check here. Clogging up my work phone.

These scum bags have defaulted me twice on the same debt. I just waited 5 years for it to be removed from my credit file and now I have to wait another 5 years cause they defaulted it again. Are they allowed to do that ?
