Received a text message today from this number purporting to be from Toyota Financial Services - obviously as scam as I don't have any financial dealings with Toyota.

Scammers acting as Toyota finance

Hi your latest car payment to Toyota was unsuccessful, to re-attempt your direct debit in 3 business days reply RETRY or to receive payment details reply PAY or phone 1800 284 123 to discuss

Caller: Scammers

Pretending to be from Toyota Finance, saying I've missed a payment and to call for alternate payment 1800 284 123 (not Toyota Finance). Scammers.

Have now received 2 messages from this number one in October and one today. Saying I have paid my car payment from Toyota. When I received the first one in October I rang Toyota and they said that it wasn't them and that my car payment definitely wasn't due.

Caller: SMS

Recieved a text out of the blue saying i'd missed a car payment with Toyota.

It's either a scam or error made by them. Called the number but the phone is "switched off or out of service."

Definitely don't have a lease with Toyota. Seems like a lazy way to get money out of vulnerable people.

I just received a text from this number for a name I don't know saying it was for toyota financial services. Seems dodgy to me.

My partner and I both received a text message from this number. The sender was suggesting that we had missed a car payment recently. Our car payments are made through our workplace. The text asked me to reply 'PAY' which I didn't. Is there somewhere I can report this number?
