Caller: Claimed to be Police from South Australia

I returned their missed call. Male Australian voice. Claimed to be from South Australia Police Dept. Claimed they were responding to a missed call from me. Said they were concerned about a missed call from Canberra because they have family in Canberra. (How would they know it was Canberra ? Same area code as NSW) I told them it was a work phone. They asked me what company. I told them. It all seemed odd especially when at the end of the call the man said 'Thankyou, I just want to assure you that I am not a scammer'. Who says that? No idea what they were after - but it seemed dodgy.
