CAIRNS DISTRICT POLICE BALL FUNDRAISING REQUEST
Dear Sir,

I am assisting in organising and raising funds for a Cairn Police Charity Ball to be held on the 27th of October, 2012. We are raising money for two local charities – The Cairns Sexual Assault Service and the Far Northern Community Supporting Police. Both charities are invaluable to the Cairns area and we are hoping to raise a lot of funds to help them continue their good work in this community.

We are seeking monetary donations from local businesses and were hoping London Cycles would be in a position to assist? If monetary donations are not an option, perhaps consider an item or a voucher that can be raffled to assist in fund raising on the night.

I understand that times are tough for local businesses but any amount would be greatly received. If you choose to assist this cause your company will be mentioned on the night and your company name will be added to all e-mails and correspondence. It may be a way to secure some local advertising.

We would be seeking donations via direct debit into an ANZ account in the name of Cairns Police Charity Ball - BSB 014681 A/C (02) 8011 8758. Please use your business as a reference. We can arrange to collect items or vouchers prior to the night – or they can be delivered to the Cairns Police Station for Detective Sergeant Kate BLACK of the Child Protection Unit.
