I read an article a week ago on how scammers are using more and more sophisticated techniques to appear genuine, one of which is to call you from a number as close to what your own number is, sometimes its just one or two digits that vary...and today I received a call from this number, no voice, no voicemail...just a call that got disconnected after 3 seconds to create that doubt of genuineness in your mind.
