Called about solar panels, very bad delay, called had accent. I answered and no one said anything for 30 seconds. Was aggressive when I said I was not interested and would not let me politely exit the conversation so had to hang up on the caller. called back, number disconnected Same experience as all others. Scam. unknown call telemarketing selling solar panels Heard line 'click in' once I had answered, had a very strong accent, couldn't undertand the initial greeting. When asked where they were calling from they said 'Good offer' promised for the Electrical Rebate Commission... uhmm??? Hung up when I said that we were on the Do Not Call Register. Asked "do you have solar panels"
I replied we do thank you
Asked how many i said "not sure"
asked when we got them, i said "2015" they said ok & hung up?!
Answered the call from this number and they hung up. I immediately returned the call and received an Optus message that the number was disconnected Claimed to be offering solar panels that we were eligible for. Hung up after being asked about the Do No Call Register Yep scam - Tried to talk to me about federal govt solar rebate. - I am on the do not call register. So no reputable company would cold call me Called back number disconnected. We have had a few call in the last few days like this. called back but said number was disconnected Called and hung up when they realised they had rung a business.
