Received a call from this number saying that there were issues with the telstra lines leading to my property and could I log on to my computer to run a few checks. When challenged, they then said that they weren't Telstra staff but worked for Telstra. I advised them to stop trying to scam people and was verbally abused by them with some colourful language before hanging up

They said they were from Telstra, then told me that my internet was compromised from my mobile phone and hackers were using it, then transferred me to a senior technical provider. Being a bit suss I asked this Technical adviser to tell me my date of birth if he was indeed from Telstra, he fumbled around then told me the incorrect date, left of the month and the incorrect year. Scammers !!!! do not listen to them. Called the mobile number back and rag out to a voice message. They are trying to get information from you. Hang up and block number
