Australian Post scam for your idenity

SMS telling me to confirm my credentials for my delivery today, otherwise my package would be returned to sender. I'm not expecting a package.
Return link was ekx.me/l/OCVa6fl. I did not click on this link.

Received a text message linking me to a fake Australia Post page and asking me to enter personal information and pay an outstanding $2 fee so that a package can be posted to me.

This is 100% a scam. Don't fall for it.

They messaged me "Please confirm your credentials for your delivery today, otherwise your package will be returned to sender:" followed by a link. The link leads to a website that looks like Australia Post, but it will say that your package is ready to be delivered but there is still a $2 postage fee you have to pay. When you click on that, it redirects to "https://au.giveawaytechshop.com/" which requires you to fill in your personal and credit card details - is this a scam?
