Caller: hung up without saying anything

Since yesterday, I have received up to 9 hangups, all from either private or spoofed mobile numbers. I tried to ring some of them back and got these results: 'that number is disconnected'; constantly engaged; and 'this number is set not to receive calls'. One person who sounded like a private individual did answer and said he never called me.
