I have just transferred money into his account and after reading this it seems I have been scammed. I knew not to trust someone online but I did it anyway. So silly.

I just got scammed too. Tried calling Carlos De Jesus at Flinders St station but he never called back. The bank aren't interested, the Police aren't interested, who can we contact? It's unreal that no-one even wants to attempt to stop him! I am raging!

I made a payment on July 3rd 2012 for 3 Hilltop Hood tickets to the total value of $300 to Matthew J Verrall. It took 3 days to clear into his bank account as I was with Bankwest and he was with ANZ. Once the 3 days was over I contacted Matthew and asked if the payment had gone through he said the payment has not gone through as you put Hilltop Hoods as the name instead of his name Matthew J Verrall. He said he contacted his bank and they said it had bounced back and it should be back into my Bankwest account in 3 days. He said that he needed the money by the weekend and used his wife as an excuse and at this stage it was Friday the 6th of July. He said to show that I’m still interested in the tickets can you go down to a ANZ bank and make a deposit of $300 straight into his account and he will post the tickets off that day as he lives in Walpole and I am located in Perth. I told him that I am not willing to pay $300 but I can deposit $100 to confirm the tickets are mine and pay the $200 once the $300 payment has been placed into my account. I text him straight after I deposited it and he said he will give me a call on Monday the 9th of July to see if the money has gone back into my account. I contacted Matthew on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to let him know that the payment was still not in my account and since Friday the 6th of July I have not heard from Matthew. He won’t reply to any of my calls/messages. He now has $400 and I have no tickets!

'Matt' contacted me today and offered me 2 gold tickets to state of origin for $100 each. He asked me if I could put the money in to an account at ANZ and said he could send me a copy of his credit card for security. It sounded a bit suss so I googled his number and saw all these posts. Told him that he was a scanning pr*ck. Why don't ANZ stop him as it seems he is using them often?!
