SMS saying "Hi mum, dad I'm texting you off a friends phone I've smashed mine and their phones about to die can you message my new number on WhatsApp 0485 840 086".
Definitely a scam.

Text message scam pretending to be my child messaging from a “friends” phone because they smashed there’s and for me to get in touch on their new number via WhatsApp. Utter scum
