It's an SMS reminder service that some places use, hence the number doesn't actually belong to them. I literally just rang the clinic that my message was in relation to, and the lady on reception explained it to me.

I called my local police station and they had no idea what this was regarding? Very odd and considering the other users who have commented have had random appointment reminders etc sent to them??
