Caller: Scammer A recorded/robot voice telling me my australian tax file number has been suspended and that I’m going to get arrested. Obvious scam. This is a script often used by scammers to scare you into getting in contact with them where they will try to scare money out of you. The ATO will never contact you with pre-recorded messages and your TFN cannot get suspended. Do not speak to or contact anyone that says it has been. I hope this helps someone avoid being scammed.
