Claims to be St George bank alerting me to unusual activity. Not True

Received an SMS from this number at 8.50pm tonight. Message "Illegal activity on your St George account, log in via link to verify details". I don't have a St George account. Blocked the number and deleted the message.

I also got message. They are not even saying who it is from now. Arrived at exactly 7am on Saturday. Took about 3 seconds to decide it was a scam

I too received the scam text today and I just black listed the number

Had a text from 0407 717 106 saying "Your account is suspended, log in to the account for verification" it had a Tap to load preview on a reactivation -man...... I believe this to be a scam

Got a message saying account may be suspended with a link...!!

Received an SMS from this number saying my account was suspended, log in to the account for verification. They didn't think this scam through. If my account is suspended, how could I log in? And if they are telling me its suspended, why do I need verification unless they are lying? BTW "in to" is one word which is another scam clue. Apart from that, they almost had me.

Got the message that my account was suspended, but supposedly from NAB. It appears to me it is clearly a scam, as all banks would not have the same number, so I will be reporting it to scamwatch. I suggest you all do the same.
