Some bloke calling himself Michael on a bad line with a strong accent rang saying said that he was from the National Bank. He asked if I had transferred $700 from my account about half and hour ago. My response 'No'. 'Oh well madam some is trying to get money out of your account. Me: 'I don't have an account with the National Bank!' Him: Oh, but madam ...Me: I responded with the usual advice that I give these callers (what they are and what they can do with themselves) and blocked the number. If you have a Landline it is really not work answering it anymore unless you recognise the number and who even gives them a Private number … come on Telstra and the rest of you providers - it really is all about the money isn't it.
