Called my mobile, saying that he is calling on behalf of the Australian Government Solar rebate. He even quoted an old address (where I lived 20 years ago). He said he got my information from a "demographic survey" conducted a couple of months ago. He said Solarwise (whom he said are based in Victoria), have a representative in my area (old Sydney address).... he wouldn't give me a call back number, and the number (if you call it) is disconnected (Optus message).

Caller had a foreign accent, and there was noticeable delay, so I assume they're from overseas. There were periods of complete "blank" from their end, so I'm assuming that they're using VOIP.

I called Solarwise (in Brisbane) and they said they don't know anything about the caller, and don't do things like that.
