Caller: Fake Call-Centre Recorded message about Amazon Prime about to take out $79.75 or so, for Amazon Prime subscription renewal. It gave me an option to press #1 to speak to someone about the billing. I pressed the number and was transferred to a call-centre environment where people with an Indian accent were on calls. The person I spoke to mentioned that I have a subscription renewal due but could help me cancel it. They asked for information such as what phone device I was using (Android or Apple) and then tried to direct me to download an app called "AnyDesk" to gain access to my device. At this point, I told asked them why I couldn't just log into my account online and sort it out but they ignored me and pressed on with trying to get me to download the app. When I had enough and told them I knew it was a scam they hung up on me.
