A guy from a Call Centre says 'Hello',
when I answered the phone
then disconnected when I failed to respond to him any further.

ditto - LED lights scam - very rude when I told him that we were not interested he asked so why don't we get them dear - I replied it was none of his business what we do and do not do !!

They have rung at least 5 times. No one speaks when you answer the phone. I have tried ringing the number Yes it is not connected. Am thinking of calling the police. I am sick of their calls

Yes really annoying. I have had 4 missed calls from this number but when you ring back it is supposedly Optus saying the number is disconnected....strange as the number is still being used to make the calls. Soooo...I sent a text message but I still received another missed call. Hmmmm sounds dodgy!

Called offering solar panel cleaning. Told him we don't buy any services or products peddled over the phone and hung up. They called back about 5 times just letting the phone ring once. Absolute scumbag.

I was told "Australian Energy from um Western Australia".
Who? Where are you From?
"Australian company, Australian Energy from Western Australia, Perth".
I said I've never heard of them, where are they located?
"Western Australia, Perth, Canning Vale". We are checking your house on Wednesday for Energy connections."
I asked for a number I could call back on because the line was fuzzy and I couldn't hear properly and was told it is the number I have already. I told them I didn't have caller ID so wanted the number. They didn't tell me a number and I told them that's because they're lying about the company and are not in Australia.
I called the number (as I did have caller ID) and it was an Optus recording stating the number was disconnected and added "06DDM29" at the end of the message. I looked the number up and found this forum.

Rude when asked why he was calling he said F you !
When is our government going to do something about telemarketers calling ACMA do not call registered numbers ??

Answered the phone in usual manner as it is a business, said 'Hello' several times, Can I help you?', the recorded message said 'Good bye', then hung up. VERY ANNOYING! There should be a law against it. Oh! yeah, that right we have a 'Do not Call Register'. I wonder if it was sold to a telemarketing company?

There was no response when I answered this call, then they disconnected.

Yes a scam I sais hello hello hello... as they had rung a business. then Indian lady said how and you today maam and straight away she hung up on me. hopefully she doesn't ring back...

Called claiming "they spoke with us previously about solar energy" - they hadn't, (what is it with this recent solar energy scam)"? Told them this is a DO NOT CALL number & not to call again. No apology!!!!

First they call me on a private number a few times then they tried to call me on this mobile number about midday and leave no message on the answering machine. I already told this solar company from India that I am not interested in their products via Twitter, falls on deaf ears.

Still in business annoying people. My filters are working well, hanging up on them as they call.

Male call from above number what to speak to Mr or Mrs ? Unknown call. Best to just hang up.

Rang at dinner time. Answered against my better judgement as I have caller ID and did not recognise the number. The fact that it was a mobile number sucked me in (not the usual.) On answering there was a pause then someone with an Indian/Pakistani accent started to speak asking how am I today - I hung up.

When asked how they got my number became defensive & saying they knew my name & address... They where using my maiden name which has never been used at this address. Scam & I'm on the do not call register?
