A text came from this number advising me of a $500 payment to PayPal. The message advised to call (+61) 1800 491 580 to dispute the payment. When I called the 1800 number a person with a strong Indian accent in a very noisy background answered and said I had called PayPal. He obviously had gained access to my PayPal account and requested personal information from me. I contacted my bank and PayPal and both advised that this was a scam. IF YOU RECEIVE SUCH A TEXT, JUST IGNORE IT OR REPORT THEM TO THE ACCC.
