Caller: 'Martin' - clearly not his real name

Got a call from this number today. Scammers reporting suspicious activity with my banking and wanted my authority to cancel an unauthorised transaction attempt. I asked him what bank he was referring to and he just said "It's a savings account and I will cancel the transaction because it is highly suspicious". Again I asked for the name of the bank and he said the same thing about savings account... then he said "You have an account at Westpac don't you?". No. "Commonwealth Bank?". No.

I said what's really suspicious is that you're telling me you're looking at this activity in my bank account but you can't tell me the bank? I think that's probably because YOU'RE A #$*$&%^)+# LYING #*($)@*&^#*$!!!!

He hung up.
