This guy called me and asked if I am an Australian Citizen. I replied no, and he said sorry, cannot help you find work, I only help Australian Citizens. He hung up immediately, could not give me time to reply. I tried to phone back, but the number is not in operation. I wanted to ask him if he lives by Equal Opportunties and he is discriminating me. He is an a**hole!

yes multiple calls from this number- as one of the above comments these calls have started since i enquired about a position with a recruitment company for work. when you try and phone back says does not take calls or disconnected/

Same as everyone else, multiple calls. Normally during the day while im at work so i don't answer. Disconnected when i call back. A little suss if you ask me. I would like to know how they got my number tho

About a week ago this number called me asking if I was an Australian citizen looking for job, I said next October I'll become a citizen then she said that they will call me back again in November
yet they called me again yesterday 27 of July, I couldn't anser the phone at the moment, but I didn't try to call them back, I dont' know i don't feel good about this; something smells wrong here I guess

most telemarketers use a computer based system so the calls come from the pc and leads added to a pc system. so the calls will keep coming unless you say ADD me to the DNC register. (even then sometimes they will keep calling).
Remember though, it is their job to push as they got hired to do this from the company so technically its not the person on the end of the calls fault, they are doing a job to get paid. i have worked in this industry before its tough believe me, specially when you don;t like pushing people but have to because a supervisor is hovering telling you not to hang up, do not let them go etc. (same as DNC register) they dont always listen. Path Careers. I have told them twice I'm not interested don't call. Is still calling a couple of times a day, i don't answer. Definite spam as i applied for a job on Seek and then they have been calling ever since.

Said she was from Path Careers. Asked if I was an Australian resident and if I was interested in furthering my qualifications to get a job. Also if I wanted to do a work trial for free, but path careers pay me.

She said she was calling from career path and told me they had a website. Couldn't find it. Definitely dodgy.

Same as the rest of the people of this forum. If someone does find out the name of this "agency" please post it. They deserve to be reported. Total breach of privacy.

I keep getting calls from this number but because I don't recognise it I don't answer. Glad I don't now. This has been happening for the passed week and like everyone else I havw applied for work through seek.

These calls started for me when I answered a position vacant advert. They post fake jobs, then get your information from your resume.
They accused me of not wanting work because i would not sign on to study with them. Very nasty and pushy

I have had the calls a few times now and they just infuriate me. 1. Call back and the number is disconnected. 2. When they hear you're a permanent resident they have no interest. 3. They refuse to let you in on how they have your number. If I had interest in paying $$$ to study I wouldn't be looking for work. As I'd be working

They get your name and number from job boards like Seek etc when you apply for jobs. Its so annoying they keep trying to recruit me in to do more study when im already studying full time at uni! They are so annoying!

Same thing happened with me. Asked my residency status. I said that I am a permanent resident. The guy said he is looking for Australian citizen for a job role. Then he dropped the call without telling anything!!

When I phone back the number, it is immediately cancelled.
