I picked phone up and scammer legal threat message started playing after I answered Hello.

Switched my phone to Do not show Caller ID, waited a couple of minutes then called the number back. A woman answered with a hello. I asked who she was and she told me her name. I asked if her number was a business or personal number - she replied personal. I said her phone number was being used as a spoof number by scammers and explained that I had just received a call and I was calling back. She asked me what she could do about it so I told her to contact the Au Federal Police or her phone company.

While she seemed concerned, less than two minutes after that call was terminated, I received a call from another number 0408 538 951) that hung up the second I answered it. I called it back a couple of times but it went straight to disconnected, which makes me think there's a bit more to this with the possibility that the woman who answered was actually working for scammers. Who knows? Number blocked and reported.
