Block this number. They claimed I had an overdue electricity and gas bill when I dont have any of these in my name.

They keep calling for energy bill and saying that thankyou for paying your bill on time etc and I don't even have energy bill with those guys. I mean wtf?

Just totally abused this guy on the phone and he keeps ringing back, big scam.

So sick of these people calling and being on the do not call register means nothing to them. If they can't get you on the home phone, then they try your mobile. All these numbers I have block so don't answer them anymore. Also, never give out your meter number to anyone as they can change your electricity supplier.

(03) 9999 9899 identifies himself as Simple Choice energy. Claims I pay my bills in time so I get a 37% discount. I asked how he knows I pay my bills. He says a survey was done. I advised I didn't to any survey. He says its a survey of the area. I asked who they got their answers from - couldn't tell me - said he doesn't work in that department. After leading him on, he transfers me to a senior to confirm my discount. Senior person asks me to confirm my address and meter number. when prompted to provide this, the call goes strangely silent as if they're recording my answers. At this point I ended the call as it seemed they were going to change my energy provider without my consent.

Pushy energy deals. Told them I will only be interested in comparing if the supplier is either carbon neutral or supplies green energy. No problem they say 28 mins later I receive "good new mister" we can save you $28 dollars a month. And this is green energy.. oh no it is standard coal polluting energy. Not only has he wasted half hr of my time he has the nerve to say "why would you want to buy green. No one buys green it is a waste of money. Money is everything" he tells me. Even brags about converting people from green energy to save money. Awful philosophy and dangerous person to have in a energy spam telemarketing.
