I called back number (03) 9999 9874 reached IVR for a company called Select Your Energy.

Someone trying to sell me electricity.

All I do is:

Go to recent calls
Press ' i ' button
Scroll down and press ' block this caller'

Each time I get a call call that is all I do. I am getting fewer calls now.

They're persistent, I told the first guy that I didn't want it he kept trying to sell me something so I hung up on him. And now they're taking revenge! But I keep blocking

Not racist but if they are Indian I hang up straight away - always Indian.

How many numbers do they have? I have blocked at least 10 numbers for all these sales.

Keep getting these annoying calls from this number and also (03) 5908 3733 and every time i pick up it hangs up. I called both numbers back and it goes to a voicemail for a select your energy and it also said their operating hours are Monday -Friday 9am-6pm and yet I'm still getting calls at almost 7. Scam. There is a scam going around in Australia if you answer Yes to a question ask by a caller they will use that as a authorise confirmation to bebit funds from your account. Beware and DO NOT say "YES" to any random numbers you receive a call from, regardless of what the question may be. I have blocked these numbers, however i do know they have multi bat phone numbers.

Call received after 6:30pm on a Friday Sydney, Australia time. Definitely not a company that works 9-5.. received a similar call from (03) 8372 2060 the night before around the same time.

Cold Callers from an energy company asking if I get discounts from my current energy provider, and trying to sell their energy packages.

Abruptly hung up when I asked them to remove my number from their database.

Always the same guy. An indian male voice after a slight click that says "helloooooo" "HELLOOOOOOOO" "HELLOOOOOO?"
Clearly don't understand how voicemail even works. Sick of these spam. Incessant. They have infinite numbers to create and use.
