You can call this number back and be removed from their call register. It was all automated just press 5 and then 1 make sure they confirm before you hang up.

Calling me to compare electricity and gas bill. I asked them to send written information but they insisted to confirm more details on the phone. I have contract with my current provider until September this year and asked them to call back. However the provider just talk in the phone and put me on hold when they do comparison for soooooooooooo long. When I decided to stick with my current provider and ask them to follow up on September, caller got really offensive and said "ARE YOU SERIOUS????, I have spent so much time explaining to you!!!". Very very rude, just kept talking without even listening at all.

A good practice is to wait before speaking. If the computer that dialed you doesn't hear a voice, it hangs up. If it is a person dialing they will start talking to get your attention.

Can something be done about this? I tried to press 5 to reject but the voicemail asked me to confirm that I was authorised to cancel. How stupid is that.
