Normal says "Guys, it's 100% normal for charities to regularly call up (even or especially when you already donate) and ask you if you can contribute more to a certain campaign or other. No need to flip your lid and say you're DONE with them. This is how the motherf*cking world works, mang!!!"
Many of us who have donated do it online and do not need to be inundated by phone calls and paper mail asking for more, especially when our contact details have been passed on to third parties. When told that we prefer to receive email requests only so we can decide when and if to respond and decide how much to donate rather than being told, and our wishes are disrespected, then we have every right to "flip our lids". Furthermore, why do they not leave a message so we can respond if we miss the call? If you are expecting an important call and keep checking your phone only to find unfamiliar numbers which don't even leave a message, it adds stress and frustration to your day. Most people who receive these calls have or do donate already so how about a bit of respect instead of complaining about those who open their purses to support others?

These charities are using Acceleon to find your number. Give them a call and ask to be taken off their list (03) 9670 9797

Just found this on the Choice website: "For-profit marketing companies like Mondail, Insight Charity Fundraising Services and 2evolve are making money from this loophole in the Do Not Call Register – it's time to clean up this mess and give consumers an option to opt out of any call that asks them for money." https://www.choice.com.au/shopping/consumer-rights-and-advice/your-rights/articles/nuisance-calls

Repeated calls from this and related numbers all starting with 03-9998 [and ending with 9645, 9648, 9650, 9657, 9662]. All now blocked. No message left, hang-ups etc. obviously a call centre. A very, very persistent call centre who weirdly seem to think I might be willing to talk to them after this level of harrassment.

Claimed to be from Plan International. He was asking me to sponsor a male to educate them against child marriage. When I said that I would rather sign up through the website he started talking about dire times and immediate actions. I hung up and searched the number, found this was not the first time this number has been associated with calls asking for money over the phone, rather than via email or website.

It’s a scam for sure, especially reading all the reviews. They claimed they got my info as I signed up to a Climate Change Petition on Facebook, which I don’t remember and even if I did how did they even get my number?! It’s not even on Facebook. I ended the call very shortly.

Caller: Claimed to be an environmental charity Lectured me about climate change, although I said I understood the knew the issues. Asked for ongoing donation which I would never agree to on the phone even if I wanted to.
Blocked them. They said they got my number via Facebook, but I don't have my number on FB. All very weird.

Luckily I missed the call. Did a reverse search & found this info. I do monthly donations to a few charities and am sick and tired if them asking for MORE money. I have warned a few of them and will cancel future donations to any that telephone me. Wasn't aware that it was a call center for numerous charities, otherwise would have done it earlier. Sick of the guilt trip that they try on me.

I think it's a scam. It says green peace and ask for donation, to confirm they are not scammer I ask them to send details to my email, which the person respond he can't do that due to some confidentiality issue?! Hello? Green peace always send me emails on their activities, but can't do that for donation related confirmation? Sounds like scammer who pretend to be Green peace or whatever organisation they claim to be from

Another infuriating call from an unknown caller who can't be bothered leaving a message no matter who they've disturbed/woken/interrupted or otherwise caused stress to. I'm fed up with it and have blocked the number - but I have to keep unblocking some of these nuisance numbers because of my phone's limitations.
