I just got a new sim and these guys have been calling me pretty regularly. I've never actually picked up before because I missed it but got suspicious when they were never leaving messages afterwards. I've read a few times that this is due to an overdue bill but that is impossible.

It is Lumo, but I don't like that it was a computer that initiated the call.

I've been called multiple times from this number and they've asked for a "Ben" telling me that the call has come from Lumo Energy. There is no Ben on my number. Twice now I've been asked to provided the caller with the my number, the telephone number that they have just called. How is it that they don't know the number that has been dialed? I was a bit weary of giving my name out, so I didn't give it to them, but then I am asked to provide my silent number to a cold calling stranger. After refusing to do so, I ask if they can provide me with the number they are attempting to call so as to then confirm it that way, but I am told that they are unable to tell me that information and that there is no other way to go about confirming what number that they have dialed. I is all very strange and suspicious. If it is Lumo, they need to get another strategy going for this sort of thing.

I get random calls from (03) 9976 6803 on a fairly regular basis. There is never anyone on the line.
