This is a computer generated caller ID and is running a series of calls to see if anyone answers. If you do they then log the called number as a "live" number and telemarketers then start their relentless bombardment of unwanted calls.

I have been getting calls from this number or similar from Victoria for around 4 or 5 weeks. A message is never left but i usually get a second call five or ten minutes later also with no message leftr. Despite blocking every one, I keep getting calls every four days or so from a similar number. I once accidentally answeeed about two weeks ago to silence and hangup. I fully believe the explanation given by another constructive person that they are robo calls testing numbers for later follow up. So keep on NOT answering, immediately blocking and deleting. I always leave a note that it is a scam call when I block which I've been told Samsung registers. Samsung is often good at stopping scam calls which I'm not even aware of receiving until I see my call log to see they've been blocked by my phone. Also the calls are ALWAYS at 6.37 pm which fits the robo call profile perfectly.
