Claims to be from Yellow Pages, is actually a scammer

Didn't leave a message. I am glad I checked here as it confirmed my suspicion of 100% spam. Neither Telstra or any political power seems to have the gumption to stop these fraudsters.

Energy Saver. Had my full name and number. Said it was not me and now blocked the number. Not my energy company either.

Keeps calling, keeps hanging up.... once I answered and they said they were closing my bank account! hahaha loser scammers. BLOCK!

Why oh why can't the "Please do not call" register come into play here? Why can't the government simply block and identify these cranks???

They tried calling and didnt answer. I tried calling the number back but keeps saying call faild. Dont answer!

Telemarketer call -- "energy saving" blah blah

Caller: Claimed to be from Energy Saver

Received an unsolicited call from (03) 9917 3406. The caller didn't ask for anyone by name, but wanted to talk about the latest savings in energy rates. I asked which company they were from - Energy Saver (not my energy provider). Asked how they got my number (as my number is on the Do Not Call Register) - from database management. I ended the call as the caller was not from my energy provider and would be frankly wasting my time comparing energy rates/savings without knowing anything about my energy usage/account.

Called from Energy Savers - claimed to have gotten my number from Australian Database. When I explained Im on the Do Not Call register and want to know which Australian Database, she hung up - SPAM. Have reported with Do not call

caller hung up immediately I answered.
usually later in the day I will get a call from an anonymous number with a random sales pitch
these calls are just to confirm there is some fool on the line they can harass

Several times they ring & not leave message. When I do answer a recorded message kicks in about surveys or they hang up. Try ringing back & number appears blocked or disconnected. Clearly a scammer. AVOID
