The caller (Indian accent) claimed same as Mel except said was an Amazon purchase - said I-Phone 11 had been ordered by a fake account opened in my name in Amazon. Requested that I open my laptop so he could cancel the order. Said person who opened the fake account was in California or maybe it was Arizona. I said to him,"No this is a fake call and you are a scammer" and he said "no, no, You are going to lose all your money". If I hadn't been a fairly cluey internet user I could easily have been sucked in.
