Why is there no website for the Homeless society of Victoria? Seems dodgy in this modern age!

I've known about this dodgy organization (Homeless Society of Victoria) for more than 16 years. It was headed by a man called Abi who bought houses from the funds collected from the public instead of helping the homeless. Furthermore, he was assisted by a lady who 'pocketed' half the collection. Such persons should be kicked out of this blessed country and sent to jail to serve a very long term.

This group had collectors rattling their tins at my favourite pub last weekend, but when I looked them up on the charities register, their charity status had been revoked in March 2016 and they'd been deregistered. I tried calling them direct, but just got a recorded message to leave my number.

When someone has a DO NOT KNOCK on their door, that is what it means. I donate and volunteer for the groups I want. It has been reported that your door knockers ignore this message. I am relly pissed off as I have it there for a reason.
Do you have a comment about Homeless Society Of Victoria Inc or (03) 9708 5370?

When I went home, I googled the organization, but they don't have a website which is very dodgy as another person commented! According to a charities website, they have 11 staff. I've volunteered at places with even fewer staff, that have websites!
I think it'd be better to donate to a larger organization (eg Salvos or Vinnies), at least they have more transparency in showing where donations get spent (via Financial Portfolio).
