Caller: Unsure - had heavy Indian Accent

Claimed to be from power saver - to seem legit said information available on energy bill and online. Couldn't find any info online about legitimacy, advised I would call AGL myself, tried to talk some bullsh*t about AGL only providing discounts for businesses. Called from 3 different numbers, all with different area codes. Very persistent, hung up 3 times and advised not interested as moving back in with parents soon - then asked if my mummy wanted a better deal. Hung up. Blocked.

Called me told me i was entitled to get 40 percent discount on my energy bill. Because of covid19,i am a good customer who always pay bill on time.Clearly from a call cèntre in india. Very noisy. Confirmed with my date of birth,but i couldn't hear clearly.then i hang up.they called me again,i blocked.

Unknown number, answered and a man tried to offer me a discount on my energy bills. He wanted further information from me to get me "my discount", and I hung up. They tried to call back and I blocked the number. This is not legit.

Harassing phone calls asking for Collin to save money on power bills I have told them I’m not Collin you have wrong number stop calling and then they keep calling very annoying and constantly harassing me daily I hate this company they should be charged with harassment

thanks for the above info, i received a call on my mobile from this number just now 5 Jan21, but didn't answer.
Yesterday, 4 Jan 21 received a call from a mobile number 0417 678 453, long delay then recorded male voice as i was hanging up. Am assuming somehow connected as I don't give out my number. Just wish i hadn't answered my mobile yesterday.

Because of Covid tracing I have started to answer calls from unknown numbers. This one "Ringing about your electricity bill" "I don't think so. I am not interested" and I hung up. Now blocked. I knew it wasn't from my electricity provider - 1) the number he called me on is not registered with my electricity account 2) 03 is not my area code 3) previous legitimate attempts to reduce my bill have resulted in me paying more. Scumbags.

has called twice, trying to tell me he could give me a better energy bill, i told the male the first time that you do not supply energy to my state (W.A.) so how is it you are going to offer me a better price on my electricity provider.
The male then hung up.

Was told that they could help me get a better deal on my electricity. Told them nicely I’m from Queensland and have one choice of provider and asked to have my number removed from their list, no response except to be hung up on. Now on my blocked list

called 4 times - even when I answered just call centre noise in the background.

Ring ring, I won’t answer.

Claimed to be from a company Energy Saver and said he knew i had been a good electricity customer. Figured he was a scam so started questioning him - called me a f### idiot and hung up.

Caller: David and what ever name he feels like using at the time.

Some guy keeps calling me to tell me I should be getting a discount on my energy bill, due to covid 19 and the bush fires. I tell him I'm not interested, but he just keeps talking till I hang up. Received another call today, being 6 calls in 2 weeks now, and another after blocking another call today showing blocked number. I wouldn't give him my details, asked him, why don't you them when your ringing me to tell me that my bills are not discounted. Real scum of the earth, try to avoid at all costs.

They phoned at 8 pm- please get a life! I did not recognise number so did not answer and they didn't leave a message, so assumed it’s not important. I checked here and found great information, thank you everybody and now I know who called me, and will now block
