Just answered a phone call from this number. A heavily accented man claiming to be from Green Energy. Could hear voices and noise and mobile phone whistling in background. He hung up when I started questioning him.

once again another call from this number. Feeling in the mood for some fun I decided to answer, usual few seconds silence then a female voice (surprisingly sounding Australian) said 'Goodbye'. Out of some perverse sense of humour I tried ringing back and received recorded message "this number is out of service".

Had a call from this number saying they were from the Banking Association of Australia and if I was happy with my bank. I replied yes and then they asked me which bank, to which I replied ANZ (whom I don't actually bank with). They thanked me and hung up. Ten days later I got a call from a woman (call centre) claiming to be from the Banking Association of Australia and that I had been overcharged by my bank and they wanted to return my money to me from the ANZ. They wanted my details and date of birth to make sure I was the right person. When I refused they got quite indignant. I said they should tell me what details they had and I would tell them whether it was correct, no doing. I replied that I wasn't the right person as I had never banked with the ANZ and they hung up. Total scam.

Some mob starting carrying on about solar panels. Just told them to check the do not call register (I'm on it) and that they would be reported and hung up.

Same thing. First call this Indian sounding male caller demanded I acknowledge I was the person he was calling. Been there, done that, so wasnt going to. I countered with demanding he identify who he was calling from . Banking Association. Then he launched into who do you bank with. I hung up. Immediately he called back and I hung up 3 more times. 5th call I asked are you going to harass me all day? Hung up. 6th call I told him before he could speak I was reporting this number to Telstra. On hold with them now sigh.

I have also had a phone call from a strongly accented man, (Indian, or similar), asking if I was happy with my Bank. I told him that yes thanks, I was very happy and he asked me which Bank I use. I said to him "I am very happy with both my banks thank you" and hung up. The phone immediately rang continuously but I ignored it. When I did the *10# I got (03) 9590 9510. Today I missed a call, as I was out - same number rang again. I am also listed on the "Do Not Call Register".

I had a call from this number on both landline and mobile within seconds of each other. The man (with a strong foreign accent) asked if I was happy with my banking institution, I said yes. He wanted to know who it was, I declined to answer and hung up. He called back immediately but I hung up again. A few minutes I received another call which I didn't bother answering. We are listed on Do Not Call Register but doesn't seem to make any difference.

Call from someone called Adam stating that he was from The Banking Association of Australia and asked if I was happy with my bank. I told him that we are on the 'Do Not Call' register but he continued talking. I then repeated my statement and told him not to call again and remove our number from his list. The line went dead.

I had a call at first from this number and twice been disconnected called within 5 seconds from a private number. The voice was foreign and informed that my computer ID was used for international crime. They asked to check different settings in the computer to prove that it was not a scam as I didn't believe them. On the end they wanted me to enter a web address however I didn't informed them that I was a computer technician and new it was a scam but I wanted to find out who was behind this scam. The name was global connect cloud and operate from India, google for more information

To take this one step further I got this same initial call, when I said I was happy with bank I said yes, they asked for my bank, I plucked the name of a bank out of the air. It is now 8 days since initial call. I received a call from overseas number, Foreign male said I am calling from your bank, (slight pause) then named the bank I had made up. I said I don't bank with them, they said yes you do, I said never had, they got angry and said you told us you did. I hung up!!
