Yes, same as the other people here - I received a call on our landline from a private caller.
Left it for the answering machine and it was "Mike Taylor" saying that he'd called before and life insurance premiums have dropped sharply lately etc.
We received a call from the same person about 6 months ago as well.

Mike Taylor is still scamming as I received a message today on my answering machine wanting to sell me life insurance. He still comes accross as almost a family friend but dont get sucked in, he is a fraud. The number he wanted me to call was 1800 157 330. Block this guy's number, report him and like I said don't get sucked in by his family friendly tone of voice......He is a parasite!

Automated telemarketing service that leaves a recorded voice when it detects an answering machine selling income protection insurance. Australian voice claiming to be "Mike Taylor" falsely claiming to be returning a call "from last year" selling income protection insurance. Exact same recording left on my voicemail several months earlier. Caller asks you to call him back on 1300 937 849 to leave your email address to be sent a quote.
a**hole dodgy insurance selling parasites should get a real job and stop wasting everyone's time with these stupid automated calls.

Received a message over the weekend from a 'Mike Taylor' saying he had contacted our company over the last few years and informing that the costs of life cover has dropped sharply etc etc etc and we are likely paying far too much for it etc etc etc so if we want a quote call 1800 157 330 and leave your email address and age on the voicemail.
Suspicious, I googled the number and came across this page.
Thank you!

Shoddy sh*t, leave an email address he says, wanker reckons he has been in contact with me over the years, never heard of him, if he has any decent credentials why dont he leave a message with his company name or who he works for and a mobile number, when i call it always goes to message bank.

Same annoying Mike as everyone else. There has to be a real person that is hitting the play button, as I answered my work phone and asked them to hold. Nothing. I answered the other calls and came back to say thank you for holding. 4 seconds after the recording starts. I don't want this crap. 3rd cold caller today and it's not even noon.

Received this call at our company today. Knew it had to be dodgy, as our head office deals with insurance. Found this page by googling the 1300 number in the recorded message. Again, no company details, just a name and phone number. Our company has a website where he would have been able to find our email address if he really does exist, is legitimate, and wants our business.

We also had a caller named Mike Taylor "returning a call from last year" regarding income protection and life insurance. We are based in Queensland. He wanted us to call 1300 937 849 and leave our email address.

I received the same automated message yesterday; but it was from a "private" number. I found this post by Googling "automated phone call scams" and adding the 1300 number "Mike" quotes in his message. I thought I'd developed early onset dementia, because I couldn't remember talking to anyone about Income protection! What a nuisance.
